Great new lego set!

I tried making my own motorcycles for my kids, then saw this set on Amazon (for pre-order back in Dec'08). When it arrived, i thought it was under their "Racers" line with pull-back motors, but these do not have those. However, they're built/designed really well and hold up jump after jump - plus they roll forever! They also look really cool. Buy a set today :-)

I have Lego saved from my children, 1972..., in a large plastic box. The grandchildren 11 yrs.- 2 yrs, will spend hours creating together. New sets on special occasions go home with them to their own collections, and Santa always manages to have a new box of Lego sitting atop the old Lego box. We keep directions from all the sets, but so far only one 4 yr old has ever followed the directions. Lego will always be a part of our families.

don't get this and expect it to jump up the ramp

Disappointed as racer does not jump easily and definitely cannot use the pushing action in the back to propel up the ramp, rather must manually push the racer up the ramp. Back pushing action barely makes the racer jump and it easily falls on its side. Would not buy another racer again. Pictures and descriptions don't fit reality.
