Explore the storyline of the hit Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender. Kids can help Aang and Katara take to a high seas battle against Prince Zuko and the Fire Nation. The LEGO Avatar Fire Nation Ship comes with 722 pieces and a full-color, illustrated instruction booklet that diagrams model construction in 117 steps. Construction is divided into two parts and the bags are numbered with either a "1" or "2" to help keep things straight. The first phase of construction focuses on building the ship's hull, and the second phase builds the top decks, control tower, and other components. The ship tower is built on a hinge, so it opens up to become a play set. Lots of fun detail is built into the model, including a brig, an engine room, and a hold with supply barrels. Cool features include the ship's curved bow, a block-throwing catapult, and a hinged stern that opens to deploy a speed boat for extra defense. Inside the box you'll find 12 bags of parts, a plastic Fire Nation flag, and an instruction manual.
