Lego is an example of the most enduring and well-liked kids's toys there's, continuing to fascinate and challenge children for over half a century. It's straightforward design allows for an infinite number of mixtures, suggesting it never gets knackering. There's now also an amazing array of different sets and models available which means you'll really never become bored with playing with Lego.

As well as many different models, Lego is available in different formats, including Duplo - a version of Lego using larger bricks which is directed at younger children. It is compatible with normal bricks so it is a great introduction to Lego which your kid can continue to use when they have progressed on to standard Lego.

Regular Lego comes in 3 varieties. There are the Make and Create sets, based around a certain theme, for example fire stations or airfields. There are also Stories and Action Sets which are frequently based on well-liked film franchises, comic books, or computer games. The development of these sets tend to be easier, concerning more pre-built parts, but they can provide hours of fun after they have been built.

The 3rd class of Lego, which has become more popular in recent times is Lego Robots. These are directed at an older market, and are a great way to teach young adults about electricity and mechanics. Lots of these robots feature sophisticated elements such as RC motor parts, and computer programmable chips. These androids can be linked up to your personal computer with USB connectivity, giving the opportunity to program complex commands into their chips. These regularly make for great joint projects between oldsters and their children.

With so many different sorts of Lego available, you are bound to find something to interest you. The wonderful thing about Lego is that when you have a number of sets you can combine different parts to make as many different combos as your imagination you can come up with. You can always supplement your collection with additional bags of bricks, meaning that the fun never has to end.
