Batman Lego

Lego remains one of the most popular toys on the planet, due to both the huge array of different sets on offer, and its dedication to maintaining classic elements while still keeping up with the demands of a modern audience. In recent times Lego has now begun to branch out into film and comic spin-off series, and one of the most popular has been its range of Lego Batman sets.

Batman has for a while been one of the most popular comic book characters in the world, and the characters and models in the Lego Batman series should be familiar to most people. Lego Bionicle

Lego Bionicle has been a smash hit since its introduction in 1999, and represents the first time that Lego have created a series based on a storyline of their own creation. The Bionicle sets are based in a world inhabited mostly by biomechanical creatures, who wage war on the island of Mata Nui, and permits children to fight with the Toa Mata as they protect the Matoran from the villainous Teridax. The Lego Bionicle series is perfect for young boys, and the Toy Industry Association named it Best Boy Toy of the Year and Most Cutting edge Toy in 2001.

The designs for the Lego Bionicle models is a fusion of conventional Lego designs and more advanced sets like Lego Technic.  As with many Lego series the models vary in size and difficulty so that you can find something that perfectly fits one's interest or capability.  Many of the models feature movable parts, and you can even combine them with Technic pieces like motors to make advanced custom models.

Mata Nui is a tropical island from traditional times, and it is living in fear of the noxious spirit Makuta. Six brave warriors know as the Toa must protect the island and its inhabitants from this malignant force. The Toa must find their masks of power to destory the Makuta, and the noxious Bohrok swarms that come after them. Even the residents of the island must arm themselves and join in the battle. The Lego Bionicle world forms a stimulating storyline for youngsters to take part in, and there are regular new releases that will sustain interest and add new twists to the tale. There are even Lego Bionicle film and computer game tie-ins that will allow kids to get even more involved in the story.

Some of the most well liked Lego Bionicle sets include the Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo Set, in which Toa Lihikan rides on one of the great beasts of Mata Nui, the Muaka and Kane-Ra featuring snapping jaws and adjustable claws, and the Bionicle Jetrax T6 which features retractable turbines, ball-firing jet blasters, and a cockpit which can seat Lego Bionicle figures.

All of the Lego Bionicle models are great fun to build, robust to play with, and feature a battle-against-evil story that will keep kids and teens entertained and excited for a long time.

Lego SpongeBob SquarePants

Lego has for some time been one of the most popular and creative toys around, ideal for exciting a child's imagination and teaching them significant co-ordination and construction talents. Now, with the arrival of varied Lego theme sets, they can also have fun with some of their favorite Television shows, such as SpongeBob SquarePants.

SpongeBob SquarePants is a Nickelodeon series which has become one of the most poular tv cartoon series ever with both youngsters and adults. The inhabitants of Bikini Bottom have spawned huge ranges of merchandising, and the Lego SpongeBob Squarepants series isn't just one of the most popular of these, but also the funnest and wackiest choice of Lego sets around.

Many of the Lego SpongeBob Squarepants sets and figures are based on exact episodes from the SpongeBob cartoon, for example the Lego SpongeBob Adventures at Bikini Bottom set which includes famous locations from the show like SpongeBob's home, Patrick Star's rock and Squidward Tentacle's Tiki house. Star Wars Lego

Lego is still one of the best loved toys among young youngsters, exploiting a classic designed which has worked for years while also incorporating elements from modern popular culture. By miles the most popular Lego series lately has been the range of Lego Star Wars sets, the success of which has even spawned Nintendo game releases.

The size of the Star Wars saga universe means that there is almost unlimited scope for Lego models, with tons of different vehicles, characters and settings to select from. Lots of the most popular Lego Star Wars models are based on spaceships such as the Millennium Falcon or the X-Wing.
